Ice-shave Drinks Day!!

We started at the orphanage with Thank You cards to our UR1 sponsors and Warner Bros and UR1 Teams... We then got down to the serious business of teaching the kids key words in making ice-shavers to make a cool drink on a warm day......

Mich with the new TV gifted to the orphanage by the UR1 Team - THANK YOU!!   :-)

Nothing like a giant hand-made card...

:)

Thank you Warner Bros!!

And thank you UR1 Team!!

It was then time to get cool......

Didn't take the kids long to get going...

And our Tuk-Tuk drivers were on-hand to help as always...

Cheers!!! :)

By the time we got to the school, the afternoon thunderstorm had hit and the quadrangle was a small lake...

First we learnt the key Ice-Shaving words (on the board), and then the kids got to shave their own ice and make their own drinks!!

Just like this... :)

Every class got in on the act...

As did the kids waiting to get into classes...

I think the kids liked our theme today.....

Salas, a teacher (in white shirt) started it...... Putting an ice-block down Steph's back......

And then it was on......

Here we go Salas....

See this big puddle?????....... :))))))
All in jest of course... Check-out the kids in the background...

Of course we had some other ice-blocks left, so the kids smashed them on the floor....

And it was on..... Down everybody's backs.....

:-))))

Steph in the thick of it...

As is Alex...

Ice-wars became mud-wars...

And is that another ice-block Alex is holding up???....

Nope, not anymore...... :)))

Interesting thing - after mucking around for some time, the kids came up to Steph and Alex and shook their hands saying "Friends, OK?" - in other words, we really loved playing with you and although we almost killed each other, no malice intended...... Great gesture!!

Back tomorrow for our last day!!!
